What Defines a good Database?

Starting a database seems easy but without the proper planning there will be complications as you proceed. First appropriate the proper amount of time and budget for the database. In order to make sure the database runs well it is ideal to spend time testing and managing the database. Furthermore it is a good idea to create a database plan which lists what is required of the database such as the amount of information flow. This will be helpful in appropriating the proper hardware and software requirements needed. Lastly make sure there is tech support for the database if you encounter any problems whether it be from suppliers/developers or from staff in the company. By being prepared beforehand you should be able to develop a database that meets your needs.
